Dr Chris Pocklington

Dr. Christian Pocklington is a founding member of the Australian Association of Podiatric Surgeons (AAPS). He currently holds dual registration with AHPRA as both a Sports Podiatrist and Specialist Podiatric Surgeon consulting privately from the Perth metropolitan and Peel regions.

 

Dr Pocklington graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine degree and went on to complete an internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2013, specialising in the management of the high-risk foot. In 2017 he completed a Doctorate of Clinical Podiatry at the University of Western Australia in order to gain specialist registration as a podiatric surgeon.

 

Dr Pocklington has since been fortunate enough to spend several months undertaking further specialist training throughout Canada and the United States, including, world renowned facilities such as the ‘Atlanta Foot and Ankle Centre’.

 

Outside of podiatry, Dr Pocklington is a keen athlete and a former player of both the Subiaco Lions and Claremont Football Club. He enjoys maintaining a healthy balance of social, academic and outdoor interests.

As a Specialist Podiatric Surgeon and Sports Podiatrist, Dr Pocklington is able to offer surgical and conservative solutions for a range of foot conditions. Dr Pocklington is dedicated to providing a service with compassion and diligence, and looks forward to your next appointment with him.
